John Hamilton Memorial Fund

Thank you to all of the donors who have contributed to the John Hamilton Memorial Fund. Almost $12,000 has been raised in Mr. Hamilton’s memory!

It is hard to sum up all of Mr. Hamilton’s contributions to Paschal; he has been influential in so many ways. He’s won prestigious awards, including the 1984 State of Texas Mathematics Presidential award and the Tandy Math Award. And he’s been recognized many times on the floor of the Texas Legislature alongside Paschal’s Whiz Quiz state championship teams. But his most important contributions are all of the intangible ways he’s impacted students in FWISD: by supporting their academic dreams; by empowering teenagers to dream bigger dreams than they dared to dream for themselves; and by setting the bar of excellence high and then constantly challenging the students and raising it even higher.
